A couple of days ago I came across this article that left me speechless. It was an article about the World's Friendliest Countries. To my surprise, Malaysia placed 5th amongst countries like US, Briton, Australia Etc.

Incompetent fools that can't even spell the country right!

Anyways, isn't it 'kinda' cool to know that M-A-L-A-Y-S-I-A is listed as one of the top 5 friendliest countries in the world. Malaysia Boleh. Kita boleh membakar gereja kan!!! Now that's another thing that get my blood boiling. *shall not post up anything that might land me in ISA but I would like to quote something by one of my closest friend,

Man, today is already the last day of 2009. Time really does fly when you are having fun.

Don't be fooled by the title. I ain't gonna do a post about it. I'm still in awe about it having seen it like an hour ago. To those who hasn't watched it, GET YOUR ASS OF YOUR CHAIR AND GO NOW!!!

Anyways, 2009 is about to end. Aww isn't that sad. But thankfully 2010 is coming. For 2010, I plan to set a new years resolution(I say this every year but I never seem to do it). But 2010 is different, I hope.

Now I shall get back to Dan Brown's - The Lost Symbol. Although I'm not really a huge Dan Brown fan, I'd have to say I really enjoy this book. The symbols mentioned are quite fascinating indeed.

Man it's been a while since I last posted something on this blog. Well I didn't really have the time nor the mood this month. Don't know why.

Anyways Christmas is like tomorrow and I can't wait. Due to some personal matters, I'm not celebrating Christmas this year. But that doesn't mean I can't party right. The Clark family might be heading down to either Melacca or Johor on the 28th onwards and guess who's staying back.

Don't you just love it when your parents go out of town and you have the whole house to yourself. No nagging, no annoying younger sister, no pestering and no younger sister!!!!(yes I said that twice).

Anyways........

Yesterday has got to be one of the darkest days of my life. Let me enlighten you on what happened.

At precisely 1045am, I sat for the Engineering Mathematics class test. As I flipped open the question booklet, my faced dropped! Never in my entire life have I encountered a teacher with such little regard for her students, cos the questions she set was by far the hardest thing imaginable. Try & picture advanced maths, add maths, further maths and every other maths possible combined together. YES TOGETHER! Now that's how my engineering maths felt like.

We were given 1 1/2 hours to complete 5 questions. 1 on complex numbers, 1 on analytical geometry, 2 on differentiation and another on vectors. MISS SARAH, how on God's green tar-nation do you expect us to finish all those in that short period of time. GAH! As you already know by now I didn't managed to finish the paper. But it wasn't just me, everyone who sat for the paper didn't mutter up enough brain power to finish the paper. Haiz, looks like my 3.6GPA ain't going to increase.

Thankfully today was a much better day due to one simple reason. I FINALLY GOT MY IPHONE!!!

Just Another Masquerade

Please do disregard the title as it was not Just Another Masquerade, it was the most fucking awesome party I've been to in years. The friends, booze, music & the cool bartender made it one totally fun night. Props to Kenny Lee and his group-mates for throwing such a wicked event.

The event kicked off with a performance by some beat boxing crew which in my opinion really sucked. Seriously, I think my 3 year old pup could do better. A couple of band performance soon followed. Soon after, the house DJ rolled on to the desk and then the party really began.

From Friday till Monday, my parents and sister were in Singapore for holiday leaving me all alone at home. Right now you must be thinking 'awww poor Adrian got left behind', but just so you know I chose to stay here. To do what you might ask, well....to PARTAY!!!!!

Throughout the time they were gone, I've been hanging out with my bunch of friends doing crazy, stupid, exciting, funny, exhilarating stuff. Partying till dawn, shisha-ing with a bunch of nut cases, celebrating Aslam's 18th birthday, racing with Myvi's & Waja's at LDP at 5 o'clock in the morning etc. Awesomeness I tell you.

Today I shall be doing a post solely regarding elevators. Elevators are a vertical transport vehicle that efficiently moves people or goods between floors and buildings. They are generally powered by electric motors that either drive traction cables and counterweight systems, or pump hydraulic fluid to raise a cylindrical piston.

Right now you must be wondering why am I writing a post about elevators. Well I'm truly fascinated by it. Not by its mechanical process, however by its super-ability to make everyone of its passengers quiet after they step in it. I'm sure you have seen this before somewhere or rather, a group of people chit chatting whiles waiting for the elevator to arrive & once the door swings open and everyone steps in, its dead silence. No talking, no whispering, no chit chatting. Nothing, no noise what so ever. How intriguing.

We Malaysian aren't really known to be shy, we aren't known to be quiet too yet this happens. Why? Is it because we just don't want other people to listen in on what we say? I don't think so.
So what is it that makes elevators keep our mouths shut? Any ideas anyone? Drop your comments on why do you think this happens. I would really love to know what the rest of you think. Cheerio.

What a concert!

The All American Rejects concert was off the chain man. Held in Bukit Jalil car park, the place was jam packed with fans of all shapes and sizes. The concert was supposed to start of at 6pm but being Malaysian's, it only started around 730pm. How nice.

The first 3 local acts were by Disagree, Pop Shuvit and One Buck Short. Amongst the 3, I felt that Pop Shuvit were the best. I also felt that the local acts were a tad bit lackadaisical about their performances. My friends and I weren't that impressed by not just their song choices but also their performing style.

After the last lcoal act, the crowd had to wait a solid 45mins before the main act came on. WTF right. But trust me, it was so so worth the wait. AAR came out performing 'Move Along'. Everyone there jumped, cheered, screamed etc to their song. Not even the rain could dampened their enthusiasm. I can recall a girl beside me who screamed to Tyson 'MARRY ME BITCH!!!'

Why should there be things which men have to stay clear off when criticizing a women? Why? I just don't get it.

For years women has been fighting for equal rights in our society & I've been supporting them through and through. But to propose a list of things that men should stay clear when criticizing a women is....well it's ridiculous, it's preposterous, it's ludicrous & my God it's impetuous.

Going Green

This seems to be one of the hottest topics right now, Going Green to help save mother earth. Apparently more and more people are getting into this going green business. To those people who is really into it I just have to say that I respect that you feel the need to share this information about how to go green with me but to force it down my throat is plain preposterous. Like seriously.

I admit I don't do my part in helping curb greenhouse gas emissions. I know I should and maybe in due time I will. Maybe. Now before you gag me with more information about how to go green, I'd like to post a question to those who claim that they are truly 'green'.

Do you eat meat?
I ask because studies show that by eating meat, we actually contribute more greenhouse gasses than driving a car. Don't believe me? Well it's fact. Contaminated runoffs from slaughterhouses is a major source of water pollution. Livestock itself contributes to 18% of greenhouse gases just from letting one rip from ones behind (farting). That is more than all planes, trains and automobiles put together.

Now you could retaliate by saying that if everyone drove a hybrid than it would be better. By golly you are terribly WRONG! Facts : batteries in hybrid cars contain nickel that is mined and smelted in a plant in Sudbury, Ontario. A plant that causes so much environmental damage and acid rain that NASA uses the area of the plant to test their moon rovers. The nickel is then shifted to a refinery in Europe by massive container then its off to China to be made into nickel foam, then to Japan to be manufactured. Then finally, to the Malaysia or any other regions of the world. All that just to put a blardy hybrid battery into a car. If you were to combine all the energy it takes to build & drive a hybrid, it adds up to almost 50% more than to build and drive a Hummer. (That's a car that does 10 miles to the gallon)

Although a hybrid can save you fuel, but because they do so, people are driving more which results in more fuel consumption than gas powered cars.

So what, we should all start walking instead of driving? Wrong again. Why? Well because since the increase energy it takes makes people eat more which causes the proliferation of slaughter houses.

So to those Green people, I just have one thing to say to you. We can cut down greenhouse emissions but it doesn't require you to make me go to the extreme. You expect me to not eat meat? Are you out of your freaking mind. You expect me to buy a hybrid car? Go and read about the hybrid car (4th paragraph). You expect me to walk instead of drive? Read paragraph 6.

Ask people to switch off the lights when they aren't in the room. Use florescent lights for your houses instead. These are one of the many examples of simple ways to reduce greenhouse emissions. These are the kinda things that you should be telling people rather than threatening them graphical imagery of how global warming is killing us. Start small! WRITE THAT DOWN -V.W

After staying up last night watching a couple of movies, I decided to take a snort nap in the afternoon. Little did I know that my nappy time was to be interrupted by a phone call. Who? Miss Sew Pei Lyn.

PL, Shida and Lydia were hanging out and decided to drop by my place. You people are just too free lah. Anyways one of the reasons why they wanted to drop by was because Lydia wanted to see me (I think). The Aussie girl was on a one week break and had just a mere one week back here in Malaysia.

It was raining so I had to bring an umbrella to rescue them out of the car. They chilled out at my room. 3 girls & 1 guy on a bed. Thank god you didn't get fat in Aus Lydia if not my bed would have broke. Haha.

Today my family and I had a surprise Birthday Party for my Dad. His birthday is actually next month however we set the lunch party today because next month a lot of our relatives wouldn't be around. So yeah.

The party was just to celebrate my Dad's 50th birthday. Half a century! That's old. Haha. We invited our immediate family members and a couple of my dad's closes friends.

My dad was under the impression that we were attending my nephews 8th birthday party at Kampung Ku. Little did he know that the party was actually for him. Surprise surprise!!!

He was so shocked when he found out that the party was actually for him. Dumbfounded even. Well I hope you enjoyed it.

I have a body resistance of 9.8 x 1o^6 Ohm's (9,800,000). Today during EEP [electrical & electronic applications] class we did an experiment. Knowing me I goofed around before, during and after the experiment. While during the experiment, I took the multimeter and hooked it up to ME, turned it on and it showed that my body has 9.8M of resistance. Ain't it cool. Haha.

My 1 week holiday is about to come to an end. Depressing I know. Usually my holidays are dull & boring but this one was different. I totally utilized this week to catch up on sleep. Sleeping for more than 12 hours a day. Man am I going to miss doing that.

Besides sleeping I've been going out too. Went shopping, caught up with friends, going for basketball and stuff. Shida, thanks for driving on Wednesday & Friday. But you did kinda owe me so yeah. Now all wehave to do is wait for Aslam to get his licence and he will start chauffeuring us around. Aslam, get it done before you're 30. Haha.

Oh ya, I sat for my semester exams in May and I've yet to get the results back.

The school was jam packed with people, current and ex students alike. Stalls were set up around the school by various classes selling all sorts of food, drinks, merchandises, etc. There was even a stall selling jewelry. You name it they have it.

I'm glad i went for the event, managed to meet alot of old friends & teachers. Dam I miss highschool. The constant bickering between friends, skipping class, screaming in girls ears, etc. Good times.a note to Joanna Foo and all the SU prefects: YOU GUYS FREAKING OWE ME!(i even put it in green so you all can read)

Just got back from the cinema. Was watching Transformers 2 and my god did it rock.

I got to say it's one of the best movies I've ever watched. The graphics were mind blogging. Although it was a long show, 2 and a half hours in fact, it was still totally worth it.

Woke up at 330am this morning. I don't know why but I just couldn't sleep. Was supposed to wake up at 5 & head to Xueli's house. Anyways, I got ready and pick up Anil and PL & we set off to Xueli's place. We were all heading to the airport to send her off. Another friend leaving for Australia. Haiz.

It's always hard to say goodbye & this time its no different. The sight of you entering the gates to the departure hall nearly brought tears to my eye. But I stayed strong, not because I was trying to be manly or anything, but because I just didn't want your last image of me to be me tearing. Lame I know.

By resting(sleeping), one is able to improve their ability to identify positive emotions in others. Furthermore, researchers show that it can also round out the sharp angles of our own emotional experiences.

Before I forget, this research was carried out by Matthew Walker and his colleagues from the Sleep and Neuroimaging Lab at the University of California. So if you were thinking this was all a hoax, HAH!

With little mental energy, a person is emotionally more attuned to things that are more likely to be most threatening in the immediate moment. Against the grain, when a person is well rested, they may be more sensitive to positive emotions which theoretically could ameliorate long term-survival.

U.O.X (University of X) Play Future was F***king AWESOME!!!! Geez I don't event know where to begin.

First of all I went with Rach Khoo and Ana Mana. I picked them up around 430 and we proceeded to the venue.

The event was held at Mount Kiara Equestrian Indoor Arena. It started off at 7pm and ended around 2ish. It featured TAG(Twilight Action Girl), Stretch Armstrong, Pase Rock, LapSap, Shit Disco and the world renowned STEVE AOKI!

Shit Disco and Steve Aoki were good. However mixing wise, I'd have to say Stretch Armstrong did a better job amongst all the other DJ's.

I guess we were high at this time.

The Harlem Globetrotters were here in Malaysia for their Spinning The Globe World Tour and I managed to catch their performance. THANK YOU SO MUCH KIM FOR HOOKING MY FAMILY & I WITH TICS!!!!!! The event took place in the Shah Alam Malawati Indoor Stadium. Surprisingly stadium was quite packed. I guess they were more famous than I thought.

Just so you know, the Harlem Globetrotters are and an exhibition basketball team that combines athleticism, theater and comedy.

Now about the event. All I have to say is that it was TOTALLY FREAKING AWESOME! Never before in my life have I been so entertained. The tricks, the pranks, the jokes, everything was fantastic. Props to the Harlem Globetrotters.

Yesterday was Cheryl May's Birthday. She's finally 18 yo. haha. Anyways Happy Birthday again. God bless! Hope you enjoyed the surprise party.

Yesterday was SMKSU's Sports Day. Headed over to Mpsj stadium after church. Before entering the grounds, visitors and students alike had to sign the 'guest book'. Just after I left SU, they already categorized me as an outsider. What an outrage I tell you. Pffft.

I managed to catch up with a couple of ex form 5's. Anyways i stuck around to catch a few events and performances. I've got to say the Silat and Taekwondo performances were quite entertaining. Hilarious at times too.

Rachel Ong & Khoo, YX, Aslam and I than progressed towards Taipan. caught up with more people there.

First of all I would like to thank each and everyone for all the birthday wishes. You don't know how much it means to me. I really do appreciate it with all my heart. So once again, Thank You!!!

So now let me take you through the event. It all started on Sunday evening. Sion, Kenny, Danyal & I decided to head over to Cineleisure. Due to the fact that Danyal had literally watched every single show available we decided to just walk endlessly. We covered Ceneleisure, Curve, Ikano Powercentre and even Ikea(now thats how bored we were).

Later we headed back over to my place where we decided to just cause catastrophic mayhem. The guys decided to trash my room with paper balls. Sion being Sion entertained us with his ultra lameness. But I've got to admit that I've not laughed so hard in my life before and I'm sure its goes the same for Kenny & Danyal too.

You would never in your wildest imagination think how I started my Valentines day. I spent it with 5 guys. Just so you know I'm straight. Kenny and I headed over to Kota Kemuning to play some hoops. There we meet up with Sionn, Danyal,Gavin & his brother Gary.

After bball we indulged ourselves with mamak food. Chicken, mutton, papedem(if that's how you spell it) , roti canai etc etc. Soon after the mamak guy came over to give us our own individual bill and take a look at what is written on it.

Danyal ordered a COKE bottle and he ended being charged for a COCK bottle. You can imagine how hard the 6 of us were laughing in the mamak at 1230 in the morning. Next we headed to *private and confidential*.

At around 3am we recahed Sion's house where we decided to watch a movie (Mall Cop). What a stupid yet entertaining show. All 6 of us sat there comfortably munching on snacks provided by our host.

We headed to bed after the movie and a session of supposedly ghost stories. wooooooooooooo.

Around 9am we all washed up and packed our stuff to head back home. We bid farewell to Gavin who was going to Australia on Tuesday. All the best man!!! Kenny, Danyal, Sionn and Ann Ee hitched a ride with me back to Sunway. Later in the afternoon we all of us headed to Pyramid excluding Kenny for he had to work. Kesian. We met up with Tracy, Joel and Angelina at Carls Jr.

Everyone was going to watch Pink Panther 2 but since Danyal and I had already watched it we left them and started walking endlessly around the oh so boring pyramid. To entertain ourselves we just sat down, looked at the people that passed us by and started talking nonsense bout them. Utterly lame I know but we'd done almost everything to try and keep us entertained so yea.

After the movie ended we regrouped and since it was already close to 6pm i had to go home to prepare for my Valentines Day date.

Ah now the interesting bit.

THE DATE.

I picked up my Valentine from her her house and we headed to 1 Utama. Just so you know Mom and Dad, there wasn't any jam what so ever. We wanted to dine at Kura which was in One Worl Hotel but it was fully booked so we ended up dining at Sushi Zanmai. & I proudly say that for the first time ever, a girl ate more than me.

I managed to convince my parents to let me catch a midnight movie with the help of my date. Thanks dear. We watched Valkyrie at TGV. Sadly we couldn't get any tickets for GSC. Even the Gold class tickets were sold out. Don't worry we'll go for it next time. Being the usual me, I was cold in the cinema whiles my date in short sleeves wasn't.

We had a slight problem finding the car but we eventually did. I dropped her home close to around 230am. Thanks for being such a great valentine. *No pictures for no camera in the world no matter how enxpensive(dslr what not) can ever capture this magical/memorable/lovely moment :)

Chinese New Year is over. 15 days just went by with the blink of an eye. Now the main question. WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH ALL THE CASH? Hmmmm.Plan A - deposit it ALL in the bank.(NAH)

Plan B - deposit half of the cash in the bank and keep the other half in my wallet to make it look fat.(tempting)

Plan C - deposit none in the bank and spend it all.

Well...........................I think i shall go with Plan C. Now that I've decided to keep all my cash, what should I do with it? Take Ee Ping for a nice dinner? Buy new clothes? Buy a new handphone? Buy new sneakers?

That all sounds good but i think Imma go get me one of these.

I've me laying my eyes on this mixer for quite some time now. This mixer doesn't come cheap though. It cost a whooping 400USD (approx RM 1520). But heck I want one. LOOK AT IT!!!! I'm back!!! I know you people missed me. Well, who wouldn't. Haha. Anyways I was back in my parents hometown Kluang, Johor for 5 freaking days. There was no internet there. I nearly died of boredom(literally). But this helped me get closer to my relatives who were from overseas as well as those who were living here. Conviniently we were all under one roof.

We ate, drank, laughed, gambled, chit-chat, watched dvd, stoned, collect ang pau etc etc. & we did it all as a family.

Now here's the best part, Chinese New Year Day itself. The day where your parents pockets get thinner while yours expands. The day where seeing red is a good thing. The day you see your relatives faces light up as they are handed their ang pau/s. The day where family ties go stronger(with the help of money...jjk).

University College of Technology & Innovation (UCTI)look at it...isnt it pretty

I shall be attending my foundation in engineering. Although UCTI is famed for their ingenuity in Information Technology(IT), but they do also offer a very good engineering program.

I absolutely love their 'Code of Conduct'. This is where all UCTI students have to wear formal attire to attend classes(yes you read it right-FORMAL). No shorts, flipflops, t-shirts and as such. All male students are to wear collared shirts, slacks and propper shoes while female students are to dress modestly and discreatly(no mini sihrts or shorts) at all times.This helps creates a sense of profesionalism among the students to help prepare for the outside world.

The facilities provided aren't too shabby too. Look at the building, in my opinion it looks gorgeous. The classes, lecture halls, labs etc are all very well equipt. The food provided by the canteens & cafes are nice too, sad to say it's quite overpriced. Guess I'll overcome this by bringing my own food from now on.

Orientation is still going on at the moment. 4 days of it to be exact. To be honest it's quite boring. But I suppose UCTI has our best interest in mind to help us get used the new enviroment that we are in. Tomorrow is my last day of orientation, i shall be getting my student card(smartcard) & my timetable too. Woohoo......

Gamma Gamma Gamma. What else is there to say. It's just simply the best class in S.U(no offense to the other classes). No words can describe how I feel toward my fellow Gammarian, but I'm going to try.

Man how am I going to start. It would take me a lifetime just to talk about my friends, mind you we haven't gone to the achievement parts yet. Now that list is truly astonishing. Everyone in Gamma was, is & will always be a leader.

I WENT BACK TO S.U TODAY!!!! & man do i miss that place. The friends, teachers, classrooms, basketball & volleyball court, the nasi goreng pedas, tables & chairs even. I miss them all. As i stepped foot into the school compound, all i could think of was the memories I had over the course of 5 years that I was there.

I remember how much a nerd i was when I first entered S.U. Here's proof.

But it was all good. Don't worry, as the months went on, my pants eventually went lower.Shorts got low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low.Beside that I've got to meet many many tremendous people who became my friends.

These were the people that was in the Lambda class. Lambda=noise,trouble,havoc,chaos,uncontrollable laughter,& trouble....yes i said trouble twice.

All the memories of you guys will never be forgotten exp Eugene proposing to Yeh Lih during the game of truth or dare, locking Daniel into the room, the constant bickering between the boys and the girls, and of coz the AMAZING/MAGNIFICENT/ASTONISHING/INCREDIBLE/UNBELIEVABLE 3 table & a chair jump.

As you can see from the title, I, Adrian Casey Clark have started a blog. Yes I know this is quite surprising, but hey, life is full of surprises.
